Elize Kellman is a singer/songwriter who started her career in Cornwall where she grew up. She found her voice from an early age, which came from listening to artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Lauryn Hill and Corinne Bailey Rae. She made a name for herself in Devon and Cornwall where she performed at many of the local festivals, both as a solo artist and part of an 11-piece function band. After winning a scholarship to attend the Institute of Contemporary Music Elize made the move to London in 2009 and is currently in her third year of the degree course. She has been writing her own material for several years now and being in London has given her the opportunity to form a 10-piece band to perform her own songs. Elize’s music is a rich blend of soul, jazz and pop in which she brings to her audience an honest and beautiful performance.
Recent highlights for Elize include performing at the Shepherd’s Bush empire with “The soul Coalition,” performing backing vocals for tracks for “The Voice” winner Leanne Mitchell as well as providing backing vocals for tracks used on this Year’s X-factor live shows.
